#4901-7 or 4901-8 1/2” Flat Waxed Nylon Split Reins

These reins are made from hollow braid waxed nylon rope in a tighter construction than the 1” reins and then rolled flat to make a nice 1/2" x 7' (4901-7) or 1/2" x 8’ (4901-8) rein.  They are not too stiff from over waxing and the hollow braid construction prevents them from curling.  The ½” fits well in smaller hands and works well for one hand reining, where the rider needs a narrower rein to fit between the fingers.  They connect to the bit with 5/8” wide 10/11 oz burgundy harness leather water straps and have a ½” slit braid popper on the other end.  All leather is edge dyed for a distinctive  finish.
