Horse Flags - Horsemanship Flags have been used for years by top horsemen such as Tom Dorrance, Buck Brannaman and Ray Hunt. Double Diamond Halter Co.  is proud to offer a newly designed horsemanship flag used and endorsed by  Buck Brannaman. The shaft is composed of a premium composite fiberglass with a multi-layer epoxy coating.  It is highly durable, weather resistant and is incredibly lightweight and well balanced.  At 44”, the shaft is long enough to expose your horse to the movement and feel of the flag from a safe distance. The handles are made from top quality high density foam for a comfortable grip which will not be compromised by sweat or rain. Shaft and handles are offered in black.  The flag material is composed of a poly coated, rip-stop nylon  secured to the shaft with a reinforced grommet and measures  18”  x 20”.  They are available in a variety of colors (pictured at right). You can also have your name or brand printed on the flag (additional charges may apply).We are so sure of the quality of our flag handles that we offer a 3 Year Warranty!

#124 Halter
The #124 halter, designed and used by Buck Brannaman.  They are 6mm diameter with nylon core and a 16 strand nylon cover.  The smaller diameter gives the horseman greater control and response.  The knot on the end of the tail allows you to slip the halter over the horses head without untying the halter.  Offered in saddle horse, mule, draft, cob, Arabian, yearling and weanling sizes.  Available in black, brown, tan, hunter green and burgundy.

#8823 Braided Parachute Cord Mecates
These are the finest braided parachute cord mecates available on the market today.  Made from 12 strands of military style parachute cord braided over a nylon core, the 9/16" square rope fits well in you hand and can be held comfortably along with your lariat.  It comes with a gaucho knot on one end and leather popper on the other.  This mecate comes in 22' length for use with a snaffle bit. Available in color series #800.

#8823-S Braided Parachute Cord Mecates
This is the same quality mecate as the #8823 mecates, but in a 1/2" square rope.  Braided with 8 strands of military style parachute cord, it affords strength in a convenient size for smaller hands.  This mecate comes in 22' for use with a snaffle bit and comes with a gaucho knot on one end and a leather popper on the other. Available in color series #700.

#4506 Slobber Strap
These slobber straps are straight cut with natural edges and are shorter than the #4500 slobber straps.  They are made out of 10/11oz. skirting leather and measure 1 1/4" wide and 8" long.  They feature a molded groove at the fold to hold the bit.  Part of the Buck Brannaman Collection.

#7510 and #7512
Made from 1/2" diameter Tree Line rope.  Melted on one end and a leather popper on the other, this rope has a great weight and feel with enough texture for a good grip.  This is a favorite with clinicians.  7510 is 10’ & 7512 is 12’.  Available in white or black.
